'NOT HAVING ENOUGH..."

                                       ALMA...femme fatale?...muse?...inspiration?...composer...
large herd of golden ants under a rock

micro lithe...small obsidian tool...well thought out and useful

old refridgerater door...old technology abandoned...cool is still in use however

the advertisement is from a 1959 science fiction magazine with some very good writing

the baby horned lizard almost made me want to "rescue" it but I figured I would let nature take its course

I watched some very good YouTube presentations over the last couple of weeks..."Lone star pork; Texas hog Meateater (21 min)... and "I can't believe that this really happened"(22 min) ..Sabine Hossenfelder...yep she got booted from her university position for being a heresiarch...called too many ideas "bullshit"...certainly the funniest physicist since R. Feynman...and also in the funny category is  "Nina Conti's swearing monkey puppet"..the ventriloquist...rather than go to bed with negative thoughts i look at comedy and music in the evening ( I usually turn in about 8 PM) ...jimmy Carr is pretty hilarious...and very quick...the colt clark family band has several hundred tunes picked by the best dad ever who has created a good group of musicians from what was initially a novelty act...also I found a wonderfully uplifting presentation with 4 year old Claire Ryan and dad singing "You've got a friend in me" I think a randy Newman tune...she has many presentations as her latest one has her as a 12 year old vocalist...then there are the PsycHacks of dr Orion Taraban presentations...he posted one recently which I found quite startling..."AI relationships..."the future of dating"...his advice is that it is better to have a mediocre relationship with a computer program than a bad relationship with a person....how about a relationship with nature...Dr. A. Huberman in his great interview with dr David deSteno "Science of God and Faith" (2:24:18) says his relationship with God makes him never lonely...sounds good to me...in contrast to the obsidian edged tools there is another way to make edged tools as seen in "Most Amazing process of making skinner knife" (22 min.)...quite complex actually...as I see more and more energy being used to hurdle humanity into a dubious future of uncontrolable complexity I am glad to have been fortunate enough to have sidestepped machinery beyond my control...wheelbarrow and shovel served me well...just bought another solar cooker ( I have 3 now) which can cook a potato in 25 minutes....and bakes bread too...more simpler is more better maybe...

"Life is research..."

top image cow poop...not the same as bullshit...but simyuler...next image is my neighbors who like to sleep near-by....then an unidentified insect beneath dried cow poop ...then is the tuning head of my main squeeze the Takamine nylon string pawnshop guitar....

in the last couple of weeks I had to get back to the forest before I could write this blog but serious storms happening now so the motel room seems be the best place to be...the obligatory nosey neighbors also show up...the dominant news has been about a couple of guys I don't know...the murdered man was murdered by a fellow who seems to have poor thinking habits...essentially it is one human killing another human for no good reason...that is very common...and has been since recorded history...what concerns me is when many people kill many people...that is usually mass delusion....the real story is that the murdered mans wife and mother of his children  stood before thousands of people and forgave her husbands killer!...this is what Jesus of Nazareth taught his followers to do....it is very seldom done by anyone and rarely done by those members of Christ Inc...this wife and mother will be remembered when her husbands killer is long forgotten...the guy who lost his job for a few days might should think about moving on after 22 years at the same job...might be good for his brain growth...I discovered an incredible talent recently in the person of Micah Nelson who is a visual artist a film-maker and a singer/songwriter...and a thinker/poet/philosopher...one of his more creative songs is called "Everything is Bullshit" (4:10)...which has a very good music video with it...the story seems to be about a magic mushroom experience...I have a story about my first experience eating magic mushrooms...I was with a couple of my hunting and fishing buddies at a ranch of a friend...there was a small pond and we were going fishing...one of the guys plucked a large mushroom from a horse turd and said he thought it was a magic mushroom and I should eat it...and I did...it seemed like a long time went by and nothing happened...I forgot about it until we smoked a doobie and then I suddenly found myself crawling around in the tall weeds next to the pond looking for my fishing rod...and my mind...the friend who gave me the mushroom said he had never seen anyone have the kind of reaction I was having and he said he thought it was the wrong kind and I should go to the hospital and have my stomach pumped...this was not comforting even a little bit...I resigned to die and soon a great calmness came over me...everyone is going to die sooner or later I figured...as I contemplated the universe and my place in it I felt an overwhelming "oneness" with the universe...except the it seemed to me that "everything is bullshit"...this is known as nihilism I think...this was more than 50 years ago and it still has a powerful effect on my worldview...

Life is research, in a way, if you allow it to be."  Lex Fridman

"To know how to dissemble..."

so there is a YouTube presentation about what will happen to the environment if all the insects die...scary!

going to get some of the loose ends dispensed with here...Dr. Lex Fridman has a 10 and one half hour interview with a mr. Scott Horton who is an anti military/industrial complex investigator...he has a lot of information in his head and he sometimes rambles...but Dr. Fridman put up with him for a long time...also I watched a documentary about Wassily Kandinsky that pointed out that this artist always wore a suit and tie...even when painting...so I guess Dr. Fridmans permanent tie is acceptable...I see where mr Armani the fashion guru and multi millionaire has gone to the big walk-in closet in the sky...never had nothing from his line of uh...uh...sillyness really...fashion is a losing game..."Quantum Entanglement Explains why your thoughts create reality" (24 min) "Quantum Alchemist"...also Dr. Huberman has an interview with an expert who documents the health benefits of religious belief...I watched a movie online called "Save the president at any cost." it it very action packed but pretty far fetched...the assassin wears a shin length white coat...and stands out like a sore thumb as he kills dozens of people...I won't tell you how it ends...I also read a short story by Jorge Luis Borges the blind librarian from Argentina...this story is called "Tlon, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" I think... "fantastic is too shallow an adjective" to describe this tale of a made up place which is being described in detail by a team of crazy people...also I came across a British television series called "Spooks" which is about trials and tribulations of the MI5 british intelligence...it has some violence and sadness...them spy folks have a lot of enemies...I met a nice girl whom I might begin to court...her name is Mabeline Raisenette...she is cute but kind of dumb...

"To know how to dissemble is the knowledge of kings." Richelieu

"There is no good..."

the need to have "situational awareness"is required if one is to avoid possible restricted stranding
another sunset...one becomes aware of the limited number of sunsets left to see as one ages

unidentified plant (possibly teasel) and the bottom plant is great Mullen recently identified...this pant has been use for hundreds of years and the seeds are used to stun fish (probably kills them)

as I watch a review of the hearing (interrogation) of RFK jr I can see what a lynch mob looks like...I heard a man say that he got three covid shots and still got covid twice....did he wear a protective mask when he was around possible infected people/animals? the vaccine does not make one "uninfectable" it makes one more resistant to death from infection...not a miracle drug...I see where Venezuela has sent fighter jets to warn off the US navy... would highly recommend a YouTube presentation called" "Iranian helicopter flies close to US navy destroyer-BIG MISTAKE1" (15 min) the amount of high tech equipment at the disposal of the military is amazing...I hope the $50 million dollar bounty on the head of the Venezuelan government is collected soon...he impoverished the most prosperous country in South America...he gotta go!...I see where several countries are supporting a "Palestinian state"...in other words condemning these poor folks to unrelenting abuse and torture forever...nope side by side living is out of the question...I think some problems need to be thought about a lot and a good mind bending presentation lends itself to much thinking...and maybe even a solution..."Hypothetical Zero Point Motion is Real" by Sabine Hossenfelder should make one think (maybe make one think they are insane) (6 min) Dr. Andrew Huberman has a good presentation "Effects of fasting and time restricted eating on fat loss and health" (38 min) he suggests not eating until one has been awake for at least an hour...I missed it again this morning...a good presentation about human history is "New evidence reveals who really invented the wheel. (8 min) "discovery future."..I think too many people make statements that seem to be definitive when they should qualify their observations with "THAT WE KNOW OF" (thanks Lindsay Nikole)...I would not go to the black rock desert with seven people and certainly not with 70 thousand...another burned man gathering over and done with...they will never get the trash out of the playa after this...but they will try...(this event use to be free) I made 38 years with no alcohol a couple of weeks ago...better, much better...I listen to Lucas Nelson a lot as he sounds much like his dad...even better now..."Angels flying too close to the ground" is a good example of his vocal and guitar skills...I spotted a 1958 nylon string Martin guitar in a shop last week...this could be his "Trigger" ($5000!)...I think Orion Taraban in his Psychack presentations has made too many sweeping statements and paints with a very broad brush...what does he mean by "commitment" and what constitutes "nasty and slutty" behavior by women?...I still listen to his presentations and I think the one about most people being delusional is good...and sadly accurate...one of the most amazing animal /human interactions I have ever seen is "Stacy Westfall championship bareback and brideless freestyle" with the horse Wizards Babydoll...absolutely stunning control...I like to watch Kiswa Mabel lumber mill as they get a lot of large trees to cut...there seems to be a blatant disregard for safety gear however...now I will have to express my dismay about the constant harassment which I have to endure at the hands of criminals employed by the government ...yesterday there was a fellow in the doctors office who was a rank amateur cop who came to "guard" the staff from my possible violence...these clowns follow me everywhere because I refuse to accept corruption of law enforcement...these unprofessional people should be fired from their jobs and never be allowed to work in government again...this beautiful town has been targeted by organized crime so many to the businesses now pay tribute to the mob...the attorney general of the state has a dozen or more lawsuits against the current federal administration when she should allocate many more resources to stop the organized crime which dominates this state....

"Pleasure itself..."

this is how the sky looks much of the time for the last few days

after the dark sky is a large nail in an abandoned fence post....then there are a couple of out of focus yellow ants which do not seem to be as yellow as some other yellow ants i post a while back..these also seem to be much larger...then there is a small flower which is unidentified and lastly is what is probably a rib bone from an elk...long dead elk...
the news these days seems to be getting more and more bizarre...the commander in chief says he thinks that the chinese and the north koreans and the russians are "conspiring" against the USA...well...DUH! you think they would do such a thing?....in a heartbeat they would do it...and have done it and are doing it and will do it in the future...just like the USA would do it...is doing it and has done it...governments are that way...so as you may know when you look at something on youtube
they have the ability to try to match what you have looked at with something similar....i do not think this is really an invasion of my privacy as much as a service...a few days ago there was a presentation by "dom sub living" which is about "non-traditional" sexual relations...the woman who has this site listed the ten most popular "kinks"...ok nothing too strange about that except there have been no similar searches made by me...but it was pretty educational also so i have no complaints...then there was a so called documentary by a so called psychologist about a woman from england who is called ms. b. blue...her claim to fame is to have engaged in competition coitus....she says she had "intromission" with 1057 male persons in 12 hours...sooooo....i did the math and that comes to one "intromission" every 40 seconds....without stopping...they filmed this athletic event but due to some mis-understanding they claim they erased it or some such thing...i smell an "untruth" here....i have not seen this womans "body of work" but this woman says she has made millions of dollars as a sex worker....i have sold my body also...usually for minimum wage so i cannot help but believe that a person should charge as much as the market will bear when selling their body...i was unloading trucks, digging ditches, processing salmon...i can say with some confidence that your body wears out...believe it...and as for the morality of selling your body...i hate a pimp!....so more money is more better...and don't be surprised when the body breaks...there is a famous woman from about 2000 years ago named Messalina who was married to a famous man and she is alledged to have engaged in competition coitus...i think her husband had her killed...she was not very private about her sexual exploits....

"Take away ambition..."

a swarm of hummingbirds come to enjoy the sugar water...now they are chubby birds ready to fly south

as i sit here next to the pile of mail forwarded to me I realize that the medical and insurance industries rely on the confusion of their customers (victims) to enrich themselves...

I don't mean to be braggadocios but I bought new shoes yesterday (sperry camo!) $3.50!

I would like to make a comment about Eros and Thanatos...sex and death...some years ago I was told by someone that ms. t. swift was very ambitious....I remember watching a documentary about Pink Floyd which shows,   I think it was mr gilmour saying they wanted to be the biggest and richest band in the world...pretty ambitious...but they had the chops to get there....so ms. t. swift has now decided to wed...and in her calculating way has chosen a person who is a professional healthy person...a hunk...which should keep a smile on her face for years to come...a very good choice...I heard that the suicide laws in canada which allow for medically approved self extermination has resulted in suicide being a large proportion of the deaths...great news...so now we need many more businesses to help compost the dead peoples bodies...as for the 16 year old male person who killed himself supposedly at the urging of a computer program I think first of all there is some blame but Sam Altman is not to be blamed for the neglect of the parents...I watched lex fridmans fourth interview  with Elon musk and they asked the computer program called GROK some questions and I was amazed at the "humanly" responses...I can see where if an impressionable person decides to embrace a computer program as a "confidant" there might be some reality issues...there are so many good intelligent discussions on mental health and all aspects of health on YouTube if these are watched and given more influence than a very flawed computer program a person would be better served...an excellent mental health presentation is "The most important lesson from 83,000 brain scans." (14 min) by Daniel Amen ...a lot of information has been obtained about abnormal human behavior due to brain disfunction...and "New medical innovation that could change everything" BBC (26 min) "the engineers"..."What tattoos do to the skin" (16 min) Institute of Human anatomy is a scientific view of modern tattoos on human skin...quite thorough...I heard about a K-Pop presentation called "Demon Hunters" which has become popular with a very young crowd...I went online to see what this is about...one of the people interviewed said they want to have a lot of merchandise and sequels and maybe a theme park or two....what I saw was absolutely disgusting, and seemed to be scary to a fault...this K-Pop needs to be popped!...I think today is the 20th anniversary of hurricane Katrina flooding New Orleans...I was on the Oregon coast when this was happening...I shed a tear but enjoyed the Oregon coast...storm on Jupiter...but I was not on Jupiter...also "How testosterone and culture shape behavior" by Carole K. Hoovens (15min) sheds a lot of light on what Robert Sapolsky calles the most mis-understood molecule in human history...he also has a very good segment on testosterone...now as I watch a C-Span call in show they had a caller talk about the crime in the state of Mississippi...which is also one of, if not the poorest state in the USA...may there be a correlation here?...I hope there is less murders in Chicago if the current heresiarch sends in federal troops...I also hope the wealth is more evenly distributed among the citizens...

Take away ambition and vanity, and where will be your heroes and patriots." Seneca

To follow imperfect..."

top image is a young short-horned lizard (Phrynosoma douglassii) i do not know which sub-species this is...i found it while walking near the truck
the next image is of a spider species which occurs on the thistle flowers...these spider quickly move to the other side of the blossom when they detect a person...obviously these spiders are not preyed on for food by humans so they must be avoiding insectivores like the numerous humming birds...the webs on the thistle bristles must be from these spiders....the next image is of a bee with red pollen on it's legs the next image is of a bee with yellow pollen on it's legs...why is that?
big news happening...uh...uh...just about everywhere i guess...big storm on jupiter....but i am not on jupiter...watched some very good youtube...lex fridman #477 "Keyu Jin:Chinas Economy"...this interview brings much clarity to the conditions that drive the economic and social situation today in china....one of the most informative interviews i have watched is Andrew Hubermans interview with Dr. Sergiu Pasca on "Developmental Neuro-Biology" (2hrs 23min) well worth the time...these brilliant scientists are growing various brain cells in test tubes with remarkable results...organoids and assembloids...dr Pasca emphasizes the need for a nomenclature for these new scientific discoveries ....a very good documentary about Amedeo Modigliani the artist called "Love, loss and art; the wild life of a tragic genius" this close to the edge fellow was addicted to hashish and booze and apparently could not escape himself and he died young...but some spectacular art was created...
