"Nor love thy life..."

Fighters of the YJA-STAR (womens force) PKK Sinjar, Iraq..2015 (Harpers Magazine 1//20)
article by Azad Cudi "Long Shot-the story of a Kurdish sniper"

in this article by mr. cudi he tells of spending a lot of time
and bullets shooting at a vehicle which is in the distance and
which is the ememy which means to do them harm...
then one day an American fighter jet appears in the sky
and swoops down and lets off a missle and sends the jeep
flying into the air...
when USA withdrew our support from the Turkish border
it left these Kurdish fighters exposed to much danger...
every day in this part of the world (Arizona) I look up into the air
and see fighter jets..some large and some small (my favorite)
I often wondered where these machines were plying their trade
and now I know where some of them are doing good

when listening to NPR last week I was astounded to hear
Mary Louise Kelly a woman reporter broadcasting from
Iran and I expected to hear that she never got out alive
but she said she was treated well and allowed to do her job.

also there were a couple of women walking in space last week
which also takes some guts
salute the bravery of the good ones

"The last, best fruit which comes to perfection..."

                                                      GUESS WHO'S COMING TO SUPPER!

rare to get a lagomorph but this one was just passing through
first time to get a pair of foxes
miss fox seems to not appreciate the attention
the kangaroo rat appears to have been spotted by mr fox
and heads back to the tunnel
and the white on the screen is probably the foxes tail
and the motion is probably the fox brushing against the camera

"The last best fruit which comes to perfection, even in the kindliest soul,
is tenderness toward the hard, forbearance toward the unforbearing,
warmth of heart toward the cold, philanthropy toward the misanthropic."

"He taketh the wise...

               more business as usual?

NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEW FLASH

Mr. E Teatsqueezer, political consultant and bovine expert announces
candidacy for president in 2020.
As Mr. Teatsqueezer stood on the steps of Teatsqueezer Tower beside
the Manure Lagoon he had this to say...

"Sadly, but with confidence and humility...but just a little humility...
I have decided to throw my hat into the ring to run for president,
and Mrs. Teatsqueezer will act as my consultant and be my running
mate also...we is going to be frugal as there is no need to burn up
a bunch of our or anyone else's money... most of the social media
is free and the only thing whut is lacking is time...
We has decided to make our motto
"MAKE THE AMERICAN BISONS GREAT AGAIN!"
and we is going to run on a third party called the Buffalo party.
since this country has been formed we has crowded out the bisons,
which is the only bovine native to this country and they used to be
60 million or so them here and they was in most every state from coast
to coast and now there is hardly more than a few thousand.
In Australia they fenced off the outback, killed off the kangaroos and
brought in sheep which about ruined their ecosystem.  Now they has
cut down the fences and removed the sheep and allowed the kangaroos
back where they belong. They harvest the kangaroos and they have
a sustainable source of income. We figure that if there was less domestic
stock and more buffaloes this would be a better method of managing the
land than whut is going on at present. We do not figure that we need to
begin to eat crickets and other bugs because domestic cattle use up too
many resources...If folks realize that less people means more for everyone
then eventually most of the problems, including the climate changing
could be handled without drastic changes in the way we live...but since
people hardly every change without putting up a fuss it may be that
we need to incentivize folks to keep the population down...
We is open to ideas and we propose to have a Department of Cleaning Up
and Recycling which could put some of the tent dwellers to work...
We noticed that New York spent $3.2 billion dollars on 80 thousand so
called homeless which according to my calculations is about $40 thousand
per person...that is not a good deal and I believe that there is too much
corruption in the social services which needs to be addressed...or we is
going to be bankrupted...some more...
So remember "MAKE THE AMERICAN BISONS GREAT AGAIN"  and
we think America will be better too.
