"Nor love thy life..."

Fighters of the YJA-STAR (womens force) PKK Sinjar, Iraq..2015 (Harpers Magazine 1//20)
article by Azad Cudi "Long Shot-the story of a Kurdish sniper"

in this article by mr. cudi he tells of spending a lot of time
and bullets shooting at a vehicle which is in the distance and
which is the ememy which means to do them harm...
then one day an American fighter jet appears in the sky
and swoops down and lets off a missle and sends the jeep
flying into the air...
when USA withdrew our support from the Turkish border
it left these Kurdish fighters exposed to much danger...
every day in this part of the world (Arizona) I look up into the air
and see fighter jets..some large and some small (my favorite)
I often wondered where these machines were plying their trade
and now I know where some of them are doing good

when listening to NPR last week I was astounded to hear
Mary Louise Kelly a woman reporter broadcasting from
Iran and I expected to hear that she never got out alive
but she said she was treated well and allowed to do her job.

also there were a couple of women walking in space last week
which also takes some guts
salute the bravery of the good ones

Live well; how long, how short, permit to Heaven."  Milton
