"stalking is a crime..."

Stalker- a predator who selects
a victim based on a specific
 criterion of the victim."
from the  FBI classification manual

"stalking is a crime in which
a person (or persons)
on more than one occasion
 engages in conduct with intent
to cause emotional distress...
by placing another person in reasonable
fear of death or bodily injury by
  willful, malicious and repeated following
of another person.
Plainly and simply, stalking is terrorism."

i would write more except i am
being stalked

"Money does all things...

copyright bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

i would like to make a
confession
as i am writing this the stock market
is taking a dive
billions lost
and i feel good about it
 like the republican
candidate for the highest
office in the land
i too think that there
are some people
who are seeking financial
gain where none
should be had
having worked for minimal
wages for most of my life
i have not had the opportunity to invest
in any businesses except by sweat
equity and the only return that
i got for my investment is
sweaty clothes
i've mostly built
pyramids
i think

i heard yesterday that a major
bulldozer company is losing
business
that means that perhaps
trees are getting safer
perhaps
some people believe that
all of the planet is a natural
resource
to be exploited
and that any constraints on that
exploitation is a constraint
on their
liberty

"Liscense they mean,
when they cry liberty."
       Milton

the same company makes
ship engines
and
i have spoken with ships
engineers who insist
that they make the
best engines on the water
expensive
but superior
and
american

i invested my time today
in bicycle
and guitar
and nature
i reaped
profit
immediately
my attempt to post this
blog from the state library
was thwarted
but i have
persevered

the snake in the picture was my
desert camping neighbor
 for several
days
every morning resting in the same
spot until the sun warmed her
enough that she could
wander away to do her
daily chores
and returning
every night

"Faith is a fine invention...

monday morning and no alarm
dont be alarmed
work today
such as it has become
is going to be for me
and not to further the
interests of some
third party
being busy as a bee
is good for bees

my work place has become
subject to some rather unusual
hazards
barbiturates in the water cooler
yikes
not to mention the relentless
harassment
on the job
a few weeks ago
there was heart pain inducing drugs
in the water cooler
pretty sad affair

after going to the
federal bureau of investigation
three times
and the
united states attorneys office
i have pretty much given up on
getting any help from
corrupted government

as lennie bruce said about
chicago
the extent of the corruption
is breathtaking
this seems especially so in
slap stick village

from the top of the
federal justice department
to the bottom of the
local law enforcement
 complete corruption
this is not a nice place to
visit
or to live

i had the opportunity to
listen to descriptions of my
yesterdays evenings activities
 today as the
criminals with badges have
seen fit to publish my
activities to the world
it is highly illegal
but they hardly bat an eye
at their own crimes

"Voyeurism is a sex crime, and if convicted, a person can be charged with either a misdemeanor or felony offense. Either way, the suspect can be forced to go to jail, pay fines, attend court-ordered counseling, and be placed on probation. Furthermore, a person convicted of voyeurism could be made to register as a sex offender."

i woule like to see
these voyeurs into my room
be listed as
registered sex offenders
which is what they are

so this is the world in which
i am forced to live
victimized by corrupted
government workers
who are actually what they
say they are against
typical louisiana

i suppose if i am going
to be held up to scrutiny
by a community
and my life is going to be
destroyed by incompetent
cowardly corrupted
persons
i may as well take the time
to put the lens on
the perpetrators of
crimes against me
as it takes some of the
sting out of the
injustice

“Complete and accurate...

i seem to be under the
scrutiny
can i say that
you are not offended i hope
yes the scrutiny of
many people
the viewing of my room seems to be
a cottage industry
the listening to my musings
in my van
has taken on the aspect of
a top ten radio station
and in general i am a
suspect
a person of interest
but not an interesting
person

i am on the short list for the most
suspected suspect in modern history
my
meta file
as it is now called
has me
listed as a
pedophile/drug dealer/terrorist
with a little larceny and such
thrown in for variety

sure i may have advocated
throwing naked children
stuffed with drugs
out of planes
over heavily populated areas
but
it was just an
option
which i chose not to
complete
i mean the
 brown banana bomb
takes up all my time
anyhow

i watched a movie which
i feel i should comment on
it is a documentary
called
heckler
the fellow who made it
also made some other movies
he interviews lots of people who
are hecklers and critics
for some reason he thinks
people should not be critical
of anothers work
that is pretty unrealistic
everyone who puts their
work before the public
should take a look at this film
it might put things in perspective
there is an interview
in the supplement
 with
louie anderson
a comic
mr anderson says that
he  googled himself
and saw a million hits
and realized that  reading
all that stuff would change his
performance
and he made a very
zen
realization that it is
better for people to
give from their heart
and not from their ego
that interview alone is worth
the time

“Complete and accurate surveillance as a means of control is probably a practical impossibility. What is much more likely is a loss of privacy and constant  inconvenience as the wrong people gain access to information, as one wastes time convincing the inquisitors that one is in fact innocent, or as one struggles to untangle the errors of the errant machine.”  Victor Ferkiss   “Technological Man”   1969

"Let us settle ourselves...

Copyright Bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

after living indoors now for
a few months
i can see why there are so many
neurotic people
living in close proximity to other
people seems to have a
deleterious effect on ones grasp
of reality
and when one is subjected to
television also
reality seems to consist of
more food
more house
more sex
more
more
more

perhaps i will survive
until i can relocate
once again
into a more
suitable

"Let us settle ourselves, and work and
wedge our feet downward through the
mud and slush of opinion, and prejudice,
and tradition, and delusion, and appearance,

through Paris and London, through
New York and Boston and Concord,
through Church and State, through poetry

"Labor is prior to..."

i spent last week
de-constructing a building
felt good
made seven dollars and
twenty-five cents per
hour
minimum wage

later
i went to the apartment complex
and said i wanted to rent
an apartment
i showed them my money
they said i only had forty seven percent
of the money i needed
then i went to the used car place
and thought i might up-grade my
twenty one year old car
i showed them my money
they said i only had
forty seven percent of the needed funds
and so it goes
on and on and on

i have noticed most economists
dont work at labor jobs
and they have advanced college degrees
i saw a copy of
das capital
once
that means
the money
and realized it was too big to
read comfortably
thoreau said one should
keep ones finances on ones thumbnail
the same might be said of ones
economic systems
i looked up the meaning of
proletariat
a few months ago
it means
the worker
he should have just said
the worker

i went to harvard and mit in massachusetts
just went to see the peabody museum
and take a picture of the henry moore sculpture
also went to u c berkley
but i went to see the etchings of
hogarth
the rakes progress
very nice
i like rakes
progressive and otherwise
i noticed some colorful paintings
in a room
and asked if i might view them
they were by
hans hoffman
the exhibit was closed
but they let me in anyhow
very nice work
not too rakish
i also went to stanford
just to use the library
non student could use the library
two times a year
i looked at the mineral collection
and tried to check out
some maps on a cd
they asked me if i had a
rather expensive software package
to view the cd s
and i said i did not
but my friend who works for
the map company does
they snatched the maps back
and said
i could not have them
because he might steal them
he might at that
but they are still a nice library

after being on all those campuses
i was still not inspired to write
a thick book

some people wallow around
in not having money
and
some people wallow around
in having money
generally speaking there seems to be
a lot of
wallowing around
most people dont seem to use
the money they have
very well
spending money is an acquired
skill
like
rock climbing

i dont think the way wealth is
dis-tributed is fair
but change is very difficult
and painful for a lot of folks

"One of the greatest pains to human nature
is the pain of a new idea."  Walter Bagehot
                                        "Physics and politics"

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

"Jasper - and a mighty good dog too..."

Copyright Bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

two months till election day
got the election on my mind
listening to the money party
the mongrel fat puppy party
the republican party
what could be called the
piltdown party
digging up stuff and then
claiming it to be what it aint
and intending to spend no money
to help anybody but themselves
bad policy

"Mere parsimony is not economy...Expense, and great expense, may be an essential part in true economy."
                                                                                                                           Edmund Burke

i like old edmund
but he was eventually
scourged by his supporters
typical

i will not vote in this election
no address
un-homed
wat ja gonna do
oh well
still got an opinion though

in my opinion
this nations failure
to express
honestly
the so called
racial
ethnic
national origin
aspect of a person
in the highest office
in the land
is
delusional

i was looking in a magazine
newsmax
january 2012
and saw a picture of the
president
he looked strange
i finally figured out
they had darkened the
president
and lightened
the background
how funny is that

the president
has a
mixed
racial
ethnic
genetic
heritage
he is a
composite of the best
our human
genes have to offer
he
aint
black
an that is the truth
now
 that fact
being ignored
 gives some idea
about how much
in denial
this country  is

and if they will deny
something that obvious
what the hell else
is being ignored
glossed over
buried

lots
and lots
and lots more

wake up

so thats the political blog
for this election

"Jasper- and a mighty good dog too;
he wasn't no common dog, he was a composite.

"I am not a number- I am a free man..."

in the history of coercieon
the gathering of information has
always been important
black mail is a very important tool
in total-itarian governments
such as ours has become
not very different from
syria
china
north korea
and some others

do not wonder what all the information
is going to be used for
to keep you in line

i heard a fellow calling himself
a catholic
deer hunter
like that was why he should have
a position of power
and responsibility
what about a buddhist
bird watcher
is that a person who should
be given responsibility
i think perhaps it  would be
helpful to better state what
it is that a person would do
with the responsibility
which their elected position
would give them

we are governed by
a three part government
such as it is
and they often do not
co-operate well
or effectively

i listened to a person say
he was strong on national
defence
well
that there
defence is obviously pretty weak
given the
reality that there are
12 million folks here
in the usa
who are not here
in accordance with
our legal system
our defence is weak indeed
our offense however
is very offensive
about 900 billion bucks
sloshing around in that bucket
and what gets sloshed out and
lost
seems to be of little concern to
anyone in governent
but the tax payer
we kind of wonder
if any will slosh our way

are we stupid or what

i read an article about
coral reefs a few days ago
the author says
due to
enertia and
speed
there is no hope of
saving coral reefs
from destruction
within about 30 years
acidification of the oceans
are sure to stop the live coral
from living
see them now or
forever hold your peace
maybe your grand children would
like to hear your first hand
accounts of what a coral reef
was like

soon enough we will be a country
consisting of the
hads
and the
had nots

the hippies were right

"Few men have virtue..."

copyright bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

for many years now
i have tried to stick to a
fifty percent clause
in my life
basically it is this
once the untruths
reach a fifty percent level
it is time to vacate
the relationship

 i have noticed that
there is now a political
party which says it would like to
have
am er i ca
come back

from where is
anybodies guess

if these jolly fellows
would accept
seven dollars
and twenty five cents
per hour
as their
living
wages
i would be more
incline to believe
that what they propose
in their budget
is workable

the bottom one percent
of the economy
are being forced into
a life of marginal
legality
this country is better
than what these candidates
propose to do to the
bottom of the economic strata

the thin man was right
if you are successful
you had some help
he was brave
but perhaps
impetuous to mention
that truth

"Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder." George Washington

"The art of losing isn't hard..."

lost the bootleg i am told
the bootleg was bootlegged
sort of an alice in wonderland thing
perhaps
if i write about it
maybe it will return

began laboring in ernest
a few weeks ago
it is important to be ernest
when laboring

escaped the sally at 4 thirty in the morning
on my last legal day
headed to the laboring job
and who should i meet in the parking lot
of the sally
at 4 thirty in the morning
but the local television news crew
number nine number nine number nine
and the bright lights of the crew
were suddenly turned on me as i walked to
the suite van
quite a joke on me
so i
grabbed my camera and began
getting a few shots of my own
film at eleven

went down town
peopled by plastic folks
trying to stay fashionable
labored on the 17th and 18th
floor of the bank building
construction clean-up
worked hard
real hard
but not hard enough
just got turned down
for opening an account at said bank
too un-unhomed

labored today at the school
resurfacing bathroom floors
piss really takes a toll
i should know
over-heard lots of gossip from the teachers
they seemed to be fascinated with
pornography
all damned day
porn this
and porn that
guess some of them must not get many offers
you know
some of them are a little
how shall i say this
porcine
if thats not to much a word
associated with livestock

well rumors being what they are
and everyone loves intrigue
me as much as anyone
there is apparently some fellow who
has been investigated for
years and years and  years
and whose life has been ruined
i mean what a crying fuckin shame
eh
better him than me i suppose

and then there is the possibility of murder
not to mention theft
and the implication of
the federal bureau of investigation
the united states attorneys office
the state police
the sheriffs department
and the city police
who would have thought

unfortunately i seem to have lost
actually had stolen from me
my notebook
my quote book
both of my garbage picker uppers
two bottles of dermatologist cream
and a few days ago my knife
nothing fatal
just annoying

rented a cheap room
and was able to watch some of the
classic movies i bought
notorious by alfred hitchcock
with cary grant and ingrid bergman
damn good movie
she was being poisoned too

so life goes on
until it doesn't i suppose

i had a picture to post with this
but i lost it

to be lost

"Niggerization is the result of oppression-..."

copyright Bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

folks are getting preyed upon
did you notice
the banks
the landlords
everybody wants to burn the poor people

i think the usa forgot to look at the triage aspect
of our war effort
priorities ya know

i have been hearing about becoming a citizen in the usa
if you sign up for the military
you get a good shot of being allowed to stay

four dollars and thirty one cents american dollars
or fifty seven mexican pesos
that is the 2011 legal minimum wage in mexico
per day
i looked it up

it seems to me that if mexico were to get some
legitimate help from the usa
like maybe help rooting out violent gangsters
that would be a very fine country to be in
i would like to spend some time there
all the beaches are tropical beaches
the mountains are nice
the people are nice
but the damned violence
no
hell no

so if you enlisted the persons from mexico
who are here
to join the military
and agree to return to mexico
to fight for their country
it might make the place livable
those other countries where we have
spent so much time and money
are not our neighbor
we are in a hell of a fix now
but not too late to help
mexico and ourselves

canada seems to be o k

i was listening some of the current ideas
coming from the candidates for the
commander
in chief
job
not really very inspiring
michell obama seems to have the only
sustainable plan
exercise
organic gardening
can not hardly go wrong with that

candidate
mmit robbed-me
has
right answers
wrong questions

the thin man
has
got to stay the course

better stay with
michell's husband

" The thirsty of soul..."

copyright Bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

vote for me and
i will set you free
remember those lyrics
do not believe it

got sent to a job today
kind of surprised me
got there
did not want me
drove 11 miles
used too much of
my gas
multi million dollar companies
both ends
sending and receiving
i have about 60 bucks
but i had to spend my money
for nothing

so i looked up the companies online
and i have the ceo e-mails
and i will ask them if they might
want to try to
bring the worker
into the picture

remember us

one website says they have 7881 temp
agencies listed
and every one making money
who in the hell are these people
these octopuses

i wonder if the re-pubic-lan
candidate for president
has ever considered the worker

ever

this rich fellow seems like
ronald reagan
on estrogen
and
the high priest of money

i went to the library and learned
one million and sixty two thousand
people came into the usa
last year
legally
to stay
which is about average
and
they will have offspring
and their offspring
will have offspring
eventually we will be like china
too many people
too little wilderness

i say we trade people
for every person that enters
one leaves

i see where mac crystal the
military guy wants everyone to
serve this country
and he says you can opt for
civil work
cleaning parks and stuff
for $15,000 a year
or military but not fighting
for $15,000 a year
or go for the gusto
and be on the trigger team
and get paid much better
and everyone gets free college

sounds good to me

"The thirsty of soul soon learn to know
The moistureless froth of the social show,
The vulgar sham of the pompous feast
Where the heaviest purse is the highest priest;
The organized charity, scrimped and iced,
In the name of the cautious, statistical Christ.

"There is no such thing as the State..."

Copyright Bootlegcircus@Blogspot.com

spent the fourth day of july outside
and also the third and the fifth
did some reading and writing and
listening and looking
 swatting at some bugs
and welcoming others

thought about what some people
call
serving their country
and the different ways folks do that

read this article on
w w one
what they call the great war
and how some historians view it today

"It may be that no one can write military history
 without the language of mandarin euphemism;
when Shelby Foote writes of 'hard fighting' on
Stonewall Jacksons flank, or Strachan of  a
'sanguinary engagement', it requires a determined
mental act to recall that what happened was not an
entry on a tally sheet but a violent death of a human
being, loved and cared for by a mother and a father,
and full of hope and possibility, torn apart by lead
balls or shreds of sharp metal, his intestines hanging
open, or his mouth coughing blood, in a last paroxysm
of pain and fear. And then to recall that any justification
for a war has to be justification for this reality. Any other
calculation about German militarism or the possible fate
of French colonies has to incorporate this image into its
nucleus and accept it as justified."
Adam Gopnik  "The Big One"  New Yorker -8/23/04

i thought it was a pretty vivid
account of considerations which are
seldom thought about when someone says
we support our troops

i guess you can support troops
but not support war

or can you

"There is no such thing as the State
And no one exists alone;
Hunger allows no choice
To the citizen or the police;
We must love one another or die."

  Inversnaid  gerard manley hopkins
THIS darksome burn, horseback brown,
His rollrock highroad roaring down,
In coop and in comb the fleece of his foam
Flutes and low to the lake falls home.
A windpuff-bonnet of fáwn-fróth        5
Turns and twindles over the broth
Of a pool so pitchblack, féll-frówning,
It rounds and rounds Despair to drowning.
Degged with dew, dappled with dew
Are the groins of the braes that the brook treads through,        10
Wiry heathpacks, flitches of fern,
And the beadbonny ash that sits over the burn.
What would the world be, once bereft
Of wet and of wildness? Let them be left,
O let them be left, wildness and wet;        15
Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.

"To burn always...."

copyright 2012 Bootlegcircus@blogspot.com

went to see a musical group friday evening
memorial day weekend
free
heard they were a rock group
some people are embarrassed by their
rock and roll past
not me

they played rock
jazz
blues
fusion

the namesake of the group
edgar
edgar winter
i had never seen before
never bought any of his albums before
he has been playing rock and roll for almost
half a century
he is rock and roll
he was there for the birthing
honest credentials
and he aint riding on nobodies coat-tails
or resting on no laurels

mr edgar winter has assembled a quartet
of superb musicians
mr jason carpenter ruled the drums
mr koko powell controlled the 5 string bass
and himself
and throw mr doug rappoports name in the hat
for worlds best rock guitarist
he does not just play guitar
he dominates it
conquers it
makes it perform to his command

mr edgar winter
shows what half a century of
performance can achieve
leadership
musicianship
showmanship
class
mr edgar winter played keyboard
stationary
and dangling from his neck
and saxophone
and drums very well thank you
and his lips larynx tongue and throat
gave an excellent performance

and when all was said and done

"This miserable state..."

trying to make progress in my guitar playing
hired a highly recommended guitar teacher
here he is trying to get me to play the "b" chord
it's too hard for me
when i really need some relief and encouragement
i break out a little ozzie and listen to music made in heaven
no not that ozzie
ozzie kotani hawiian slack string guitar master
i especially like "ku u kika kahiko"  (my old guitar)

i get a hell of a lot of criticism for about every aspect of my life
of course i do  a lot of criticising also
i try to keep from being too distracted by all those who have condemned
me to roast in perdition and i found this description of the
"stay in line and never talk back champions of mediocrity"
given by Dante
i don't want to only get half-way there

"This miserable state is borne by the wretched souls of those who lived without disgrace
and without praise."
Dante Alighieri-   "Inferno" referring to the souls of the futile

got to go
getting out of line
as much as i can

"It is of the highest importance in the art...

the harassment is increasing
supposed to be a law against harassment
and bullying
goes with the whistle blowing
i suppose
been to the fbi
and the us attorney
they just laughed in my face
my room was entered recently
and my property stolen
my vehicle was entered also
and my property was stolen
said it was government employees
goes with the whistle blowing
i suppose

"Government can be a kind of gangsterism and is in Russia
and is likely to be here if we don't take care of ourselves
pretty carefully." Frank Lloyd Wright (1958 T.V. interview)

listening to a report on the radio
concerning an exhibit somewhere
about thomas jefferson
and his slaves
slavery
been around a long time
spartans had 'em
really rough on 'em
greeks had 'em
back when socrates was alive
free gentlemen of color had 'em
in new orleans
back in the 18th & 19 century
irish came over to the usa
as indentured servants
some asians still do
and some europeans
so i was wondering about
people who are in business
you know the successful ones
who allow workers to work for
say $7.25  per hour
and people who allow wait staff
to work for $2.50 per hour
plus gratuities
they will not allow that in europe
i have heard
i wonder if squirmin herman
ever advocated for better wages
for restaurant workers
tough work
but not slavery
by todays definition

"When you see a situation you can not understand,
look for the financial interest."  Tom L. Johnson

been mostly staying in the swamps
real relaxing mostly
listen to the radio
lots of news and such
dead folks
news seems to be a lot about
dead folks
heard mike mullen say
a while back that
no person who serves in combat
will ever be the same
he should know
heard the commander in chief
say he thinks maybe
four thousand jobs will be
made available to veterans
as policemen and firemen
better reconsider that
chief

i wonder why the government
affords me no help
for my serious problem
with being harassed
they can kiss my ass

"It is of the highest importance in the art of detection to be able to recognize out of a number of facts which are incidental and which are vital...I would call your attention to the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident."
