i like a helium ballon as much as the next person...but i find these escapes all the time
when i crouched next to the above ants there was a single ant that was timidly walking near the entrance to the ant-hole when it saw me (or sensed me) it hurried back to the entrance to the hole...there were 6 or 8 ants crowded in the entrance of the hole and they simultaneously moved backwards upon sensing my presence...it was a kind of behavior i would not expect from ants...i think all species of ants probably have different capacities of awareness of their surroundings....
i looked for the high temperature predicted for today and at 97 degrees decided that my old co-morbidity body was not likely to come through UN-damaged...so i packed up and headed into yumertonville...stopped first at the post office in little winterhaven...very small mostly agricultural workers...except there are two pot stores and a titty-bar withing a hundred yards ...an old guy came in to spew lies about his encounter with gov. walz in minn. and declare how pathetic a country we live in...of course i always wonder if these folks who have these complaints have a passport...then they can just leave...i wanted to remind these folks of the woman who was just released from prison after serving a two year sentence because her 12 year old daughter posted something online that was derogatory about the government...i think this was in china or some other asian authoritarian country...and here these folks have the freedom to criticize the federal government in a federal building...they don't know how good they have it...
then i went to the scratched and dented store...one dollar pints of hagen daz ice cream was more than i could resist...also got 64OZ of olive oil for 12 bucks... then to the thrift and 2 science mags for a buck then to the walk-in medical where i was prescribed 4 meds for my COPD and went to the pharmacy and got the meds for zero dollars and zero cents with insurance...what a rotten country i live in right!...then the laundry and now the thermometer reads 101 degrees...not survivable by me...get a room from the india hostler and buy some veggies for diner...better to have less money and remain alive than risk death by heat...
noticing the increased popularity of nose rings in men and women...interesting how as the Indian sub-continent has more and more people moving here the nose ring trend increases...i think it originates in India....
read a great interview in "SUN" magazine with Clarissa Smith who researched on-line pornography and wrote a book about it...she claims the average amount of time spent on porn sites on pornhub is 9 minutes and 40 seconds....well i average more like 9 hours and 40 minutes...but i have concluded that along with alcohol, pot, and gambling i can add porn to my addictions...i have heard that certain people want me to be listed as a porn addict...for no other reason than they assume it will "shame" me...look i think it is a lot more shameful to stalk and harass a person than to look at porn...anyhow i don't know if they expect me to wear a large red "P" on my clothes so decent folks can shun me...i despise the hypocrisy of these holy rollers...
found a DVD of a 1930 movie "L'AGE D'OR" by L. Bunuel and salvadore dali...it is an absurdist movie i guess...it is certainly absurd...i also picked up a first season of "Black Sails" about pirates in 1715...there is a lot of violence and lot of sex and a lot of violent sex and a lot of people who need a bath...a lot deception also...
there is a lot of talk about housing and the so called housing shortage is likely to only get worse...the government...any government seems unlikely to adequately address the unhoused in a manner that will satisfy anyone except the corrupted builders...i picked up a DVD called "Little Boxes" "the legacy of henry doelger"...this man built thousands of homes south of san francisco in the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's...really amazing achievement and a new concept in home building and what "sub-divisions" should contain...
