"What men value in this world..."

more interested in whether the fungi will eat me instead of the other way around...lots of rain 12inch ruler!

bad news this week in the foreign relations...putin showing his colors by cozying up to north korea...the bizarre sur-realistic laws in north korea are an Orwellian nightmare... a man was sentenced to death for smuggling "Squid Game" into the country and the buyer got life in prison and 2 watchers got 5 years of hard labor...whoa buddy!...i never watched the game myself...but thats too stupid even for putin...or not...might be some problems with italy as one of the strongest candidates in their political system is a woman who has been in the fascist party since she was 15 years old...yikes!...i contend that the next mussolini will be a woman...things ain't lookin' so jolly here in error-zona either...nit wits...armed nit wits at that...protesting at the FBI headquarters in feenix...i have been to the FBI a couple of times to have a chat with one of their folks...when you walk into the office there is a bulletproof window where they slide you a piece of paper which reads...'WHAT IS YOUR COMPLAINT...AND WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO ABOUT IT!"...not a lot of chit-chat...also i just heard on the radio that some journalist type said he has never encountered anyone as radically conservative  as the folks he as encountered in error-zona...i could have told them that...they should see whats going on in yumertonville...what with the army and the marine facilities there...i had an acquaintance who had done some international traveling and was "re-cruited" into the so-called intelligence community tell me that new orleans had more "covert" operatives per capita than any city in the USA...which is odd since it has long been considered the most corrupted city...maybe they go hand in hand...probably...i bet yumertonville has many more covert operatives per capita than anyplace besides maybe shanghi...which reminds me...everyone who can read should read "Legacy of Ashes" by tim weiner (2007/2008) several times...and it is probably on audio book too...no excuses...it is by far the most scary thing i have ever read...billions of taxpayer dollars wasted and worse than wasted the CIA efforts have turned much of the civilized world against us...look i don't mean to be a reverse snob...but it is obvious that the agency is inbred...RETARDED!...when i read "Ian Fleming" a biography by Andrew Lycett...and the intelligence work by the author of the james bond thrillers it occurred to me that the "tofts" who are part of the peerage are also inbred and these here upper-crusts are no better suited to do intelligence work than anyone and probably worse...these people need to read "The Compulsion to Confess" by theodor reik...i have had so many people confess to being "undercover" or expose someone else who WAS undercover that i think maybe it should be a fundamental part of  training...i was listening to the Inspector General of a special task force to investigate corruption in Afghanistan yesterday...he said they have recovered 4 billion bucks which was mis-appropriated so far...and get this, the USA is out of Afghanistan but in the last year $775 million dollars of taxpayers money has been spent there...that's a lot of college tuition!...I highly recommend a Rick Steves lecture about "Travel as a Political Act" which is very "eyes wide open" view of the USA as compared to the rest of the world...he is not anti american but he feels sorry that in europe they put people before business more often than not...also it might help people get a perspective of how russians view the world if they know that for every american killed fighting the nazis in WW2 the russians lost 80 soldiers and civilians..i had a russian woman tell me that americans don't realize how much the russians did for america...hopefully the russians will see that the militaristic future is a bad plan...hopefully americans will see it too!

"One should respect pubic opinion..."

some good information about weather and weed...and no i was not stoned when i copied this information

more rain in the last week than i have seen in this state in the last 5 years...better than the forests burning up...well got a call from my brother and he sent a text also...as well as an attachment which is a photograph of something too obscure to tell what it is...very suspicious...when i checked my phone mail they tell me the date and the time and the duration...AND THE NUMBER THE CALL WAS MADE FROM! golly gee whiz! my brother has a phone number from this state now...what a surprise...so now my phone has got a virus from the attachment and my blog is hacked and my mail is sometimes delivered half opened...does that happen to the UNITED STATES ATTORNEY do you suppose? this is the reality of my life...i am stalked everywhere...grocery store, library, motel...being in a box can be trying on ones nerves...actually the u.s attorneys are political appointments so they do whatever the politics tells them to do...and harassing me has been on the duty list for a long time...i am going to write a longish account of my life soon..before i get on the raft to the farther shore anyhow...and it will detail my experiences from australia, mexico, the Caribbean, alaska. and from san francisco to virginia to new orleans...it won't be pretty...watched a few movies last week... "Riddick...the name says it all...it was a bit of "patriarchal phallocentrism..." and the fact that both of the female co-stars were killed off in both his movies was a negative aspect of these movies...the expendable women syndrome in action...the action was usually exciting so it was not a bad movie experience but it could have been better...also i watched "Big Easy"  from 1986...filmed in new orleans but the accents were imported from new iberia...a rather outrageous oversight by the movies makers...the new orleans accents are much more like the bronx accents . i have seen plenty of movies about new york and los angeles and san francisco where they got the dialogues correct...why goof up the new orleans characters? i was amused that jim garrison played himself  as a judge in this movie...most people know him as the district attorney...he was replaced by harry connick...harry took all the boxes of files about the kennedy assassination and was going to send them to the dump before they were rescued... pappy jack said jim was a nut case but pappy jack spent his entire working life investigating organized crime...and he didn't like to talk too loud or bite the hand that feeds him...more about his quagmire later...

"We do not live an equal life, but one of contrasts and patchwork..."

robert service was a good poet and not always politically correct...which is very poetic....

more rain in the last week here in the pondorosa pine forests than i have ever seen...the so called extremes in weather events are becoming the new normal...everywhere...i have been watching a collection of DVD's that i bought about the vietnam war...23 hours worth...it does not tell the same story that i heard from most media back in the 60's and 70's...i would like to know how much money was spent on food clothing and medicine as well as building projects for the people of south vietnam by the US military...you hardly ever hear about the good things that the US government tried to do for the people of south vietnam...i also watched "Platoon" a movie by oliver stone which did not hardly show a good side to the military in vietnam...it sort of makes one wonder about the notion of americans being in a far away country doing battle with people in their own homeland...no easy answers...

the news is pretty interesting these days...biden had to disappear for 3 days after coming back from overseas...i imagine they kept him dosed him with Provigil which is probably the best stimulant in the world...but still will wreck you health if used too much...i suppose getting the oil flowing out of the middle east was the main objective of the trip...now i hear that raccoon dogs and foxes at the wet market in wu han china was the likely vector for covid..raccoon dogs are not legal in this country because thry reproduce so fast..now we have monkey virus to contend with...they want to rename it...i recommend MONKEY BUTT virus...has a nice ring to it....thought of a good name for a radical girl group..."DIXIE GYPSY SQUAWS"...has a nice ring to it...well 8 billion people on the planet in november...got to start eating "KHASHOGGI SAUSAGE"...has a nice ring to it...the new space telescope is turning out some good images now...i picked up a couple of DVD's about the Hubble space telescope...lectures by a very good lecturer professor david m myer of northwestern university...very informative...there was fellow named VESTO SLIPHER (1875-1969) who worked at the lowell telescope in flafstaff, az....he also talked about a guy named MILTON HUMASON (1891-1922) who used to haul supplies up to the mount wilson telescope with mules and a wagon...then he became a handyman, then a janitor, then a night assistant then a staff astronomer...he was especially good at long exposure photography of the sky...only goes to show if you are interested in something you can often find a way to participate...well haven't died yet so i guess i'll go back to the forest...still looking for a way to put all my photos online so people can download them...this being hacked and robbed every time i go to a library or get a motel room is a bad plan...

"In a culture based on consumption..."

this is a very interesting article from the american rifleman mag.(NRA)

lots of gun action in the news of late...too many shots fired or not enough...latest is of a gun punk who was going to wreak havoc at a food court...killed three but an armed man killed him dead...they are saying he is a hero...of course every person that needs to be a hero now expects to "get his man" and they are mostly incompetent ninnies with guns...oregon has introduced legislation that requires firearms training before you can get a gun...now lets see the guy on the roof in las vegas was extremely familiar with his large collection of guns and he murdered a lot of people...the "well regulated militia" clause in amendment #2 is largely ignored...if one is actually in a well regulated militia you are for ever under surveillance for being a radical...something has to be changed...too many guns in the hands of people who are a danger to society...and not enough consideration for those people who can be an asset to society by being armed and responsible...not all guns and gun owners are bad or dangerous

i see where the musk mellon wants out of his 44 billion dollar twitter purchase...bad investment anyhow but i see where argentina is 44 billion dollars in the hole...maybe musk mellon can buy argentina and be made the CEO and straighten that country out...might make a great trend where big money people purchase an ailing country and make them prosperous...the Rockefellers did it in west virginia and arkansas ans actually helped the states...

was reading about putins $500,000 wrist watch...what a sicko...i have a 3 dollar casio thrift store watch which loses a minute a month...i have several actually...i recently bought a magazine in the thrift store which is  about the "trending" things to own...there were a dozen watch advertisements...a watch fetish to be sure...we have gun fetishists, car fetishists and i suppose guitar fetishist too...we need tombe in group therapy...you go first....

"He that listens... "

gray fox-Urocyon cinereoargenteus...i thought is was a new species of orange fox...just the light

i saw this animal on three days and suppose it has a house nearby

guns guns guns in the news a lot...gun goobers with goober guns...the 90 shot killing of a fellow in ohio is a sort of sickness...a pathology...i was thinking of the most dangerous animals in the zoo when i worked there and i suppose the female polar bear and the jaguars would eat your face pretty quick...but i could not imagine anyone firing 90 rounds of pistol shots at them...sick sick sick...of course the gun goobers took to the woods near me and blasted all one day and half the next...thanks to the management stealing the money from NRA they don't have money to build legit shooting ranges for the shooting sports so people have to go down back roads and do the best they can...i read a lot of magazine articles and newspapers in the last week...there was a good article on the chinese governments surveillance of the people in china...and everywhere else i suppose...this is what the leader of china had to say about the information that is obtained by monitoring every move of its citizens..."Big data should be used as an engine to power the innovative development of public security work and a new growth point nurturing combat capabilities..." combat capabilities!? what the hell does that mean...it made me kind of wonder if i could get the FBI to take the monitor out of my truck...i asked once but they said they did not put it in there...damn! i guess i will go to my grave as a person in a box...way back in about 1991 a fellow on a job that i went to in Colorado Springs said that i was to spend the rest of my life in a box...i must be a pretty high profile "enemy of the state"...and it turns out that the box seems to be ever present...i turned it into a "soap box" where i get to express my views and always have and audience...despite the declining social health of USA i put my american flag out on the 4th...resist!

"It is indeed one of the capital tragedies..."

new youngsters in the neighborhood...until they become a meal for the hawks etc...

so heard that mr robert kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison for a variety of charges which were brought against him...not the least of which was operating an ongoing criminal enterprise...i think he was caught up in the "PIMP" culture which was so popular a few years ago...which we were warned against by mr O'Shea Jackson Sr....but which was promoted by Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr...well all i have to say is 30 years! it is only a number...WHO'S THE MACK!

"It is an endless and frivolous pursuit..."

my money can beat up your money...maybe...

interesting things in the news last week...monday was juneteenth...celebrating the delayed freeing of those persons who had been enslaved in galveston texas, usa...nowadays they are free to work for minimum federal wage of $7.25 per hour...what a joke..why are there not people protesting in every city in the nation to increase the federal minimum wage! i spent so much time working for minimum wage that my social security is pretty minimal too...better than a stick in the eye...next day was migrant day...(actually we should say refugees) there are 100 million refugees across the globe these days...what the hell is that about!...the next day was the day that the constitution of the usa was adopted in 1788...lets hear a big cheer for the constitution of the usa...well Aristotle collected constitutions but the only one that survived was the one for athens greece...i picked up a newspaper with an interesting story about a fellow...a mr. s. bickings...who climbed over a 4 foot fence and after a cop told him it was not legal to swim in the lake he waded into the lake and drowned...do you know what law was enforced in this case? it was the LAW OF NATURAL SELECTION...thats right mr. s. bickings was culled out of the population....there of course were protests because the cops did not enter the water to save the man from drowning...what a joke   !also there has been protests about monkeys being used to harvest coconuts for the juice...thats what monkeys do...climb trees...this is in thailand where they just legalized pot...maybe they can get stoners to climb the trees instead...just a thought...big news in el salvador...2% of the population has been detained (read imprisoned) 11 thousand of these detainees are children...40 thousand people in all have been picked up because there was so much violent crime associated with "GANGS"...they say 70% of the population approve of this action...i believe this country has some of the strictest gun laws in the world...a computer type worker has claimed that he has a computer that is "sentient"...which means that it has feeling that were not part of the computer program...his bosses say they doubt it...who knows...but i would think twice about how much information you give to your smart phone or alexis or any other mother board...HAL is lurking out there...a good article in NY times about transgender people...1.4% of the population is transgender in the usa...or 1.6 million people...i do not know if this is politically correct to ask but how many people went from male to female and from female to male...

i have been thinking about my "LIST"...which is persons whose absence would be beneficial to the health of the planet...of course at the head of the list is v.putin...i have been reading a book which i have seen around for a while."Legacy of Ashes" a history of the central intelligence agency"....this little misfit agency has made a lot of lists of people to eliminate...but they are pretty inept to say the least...so perhaps a billion dollar bounty could be put on putins head...payable anonymously...i watched a movie recently which i was not going to recommend because...well it is about two used car salesmen...who kill people for money also as a side job...it is called "Jerry and Tom" (2011) 97 minutes...it has several well known actors in it...and the camera work is very creative...it is kind of depressing though...and it has a message...at the end...you might say the message is about "the rule of complete play" as they say in the gambling circles...

"It is an endless and frivolous pursuit to act by any other rule than the care of satisfying of our own minds in what we do."  Richard Steele
