as i sit here watching folks talk about gloria steinem and her life i realize i was alive and well when women in this country became increasingly vocal about equality for women... i keep hearing some static about how "feminism" is destroying society or some such guff..."What ancient DNA revealed about Sumerian women" @asian ancestry (25min) is a scientific view of the reality of womens lives in this era....and!..."Why Neanderthal men kept mating with human women (Homo sapians) and not the other way around"@Epochra (15 min)..."The secret history of big tech" @Anna Bocca (1hour and 40 minutes) this is a very well researched "history" of the evolution of computers from about 1940 till recently...it is disconcerting that several people who were formative in the development of modern computation were/are rather "totalitarian" in their world view...and very wealthy i might add..."Itchy Boots is in china now and still overcoming setbacks...she had mechanical difficulties but had a spare fuel filter which corrected the problem...then she had a very informative visit to "Unit 731" which is what remains of a "medical" facility run by the japanese during WW2...lots of evil goings on...i came across "Adrianna@adrianna-rust ridge ranch...this woman lost her job as a "machinist" (my grandfather was a machinist) so she spends her time with her "main squeeze" (Mr. Matt) doing things around the property...she has an affection for older machinery so she does a lot of repair work...she recently baled hay on her own property for the first time...not very good horse hay but cattle might eat it...she is off to Arkansas to the "National chuck wagon race" this weekend...(a while back there were several deaths at the chuck wagon races in Calgary Canada...it ain't no joke!)...Ashley Cooke has another good tune in "If i'm being honest"(about 3 minutes...watch the one with lyrics)
