"Using his burgeoning intellegence..."
it seems to me that we need to nurture more seeds and not sow them on rocks
i heard mr musk say "i think everyone will want their own humanoid robot"...i was sitting with the man who rented me my auto mobil and we were uncertaain about how far the trip was...he confidently picked up his phone and asked the non-humanoid robot how far it was...it did not understand...then he asked again and the robot recommended some information on anger...WHOA BUDDY! when the "devices" start to program the human it may be time to re-evaluate the relationship...more social commentary...as you might have heard the catholic church has chosen (democraticaly) a new bishop of rome...called the pope...you know i am pleased to see that pope bob like all of his predesessors has decided to wear the humble garb of the man who (allegedly) these folks want to emulate...the church people seem to me to be dramatically over-dressed for the occasion...and unabashed hypocrites...i hear pope bob don't like the queers and was a big do-gooder in peru...why did he get the job? i think the answer is hidden in the david bowie song "i"m afraid of americans"...yes god is an american!...the $142 billion arms deal with the saudis and the usa may come back to bite this country on the ass...what could go wrong!...the worlds poorest leader died in uruguay leaving his 1987 volkswagon bug...not a collectable but his daily ride...this from my florida wildlife and fisheries emails...89 year old man killed by black bear on monday the 5th of may...three bears in the vicinity killed...on may 1,2,4, and 6 a florida panther was killed by vehicular traffic on the roads...vehicles are winning the body count...RFK jr says sugar is poison...i think they (we) subsidize sugarcane growers...maybe they could get some of these farmers to plant bamboo instead of sugarcane...and i read where there is $1.4 billion bucks spent on "kidult" toys...toys for adults...figures..."Using his burgeoning intelligence, the most successful of all mammals exploited the environment to produce food for an ever increasing population, in spite of disasters when civilizations have over-reached themselves that process has continued indeed accelerated even today. Now mankind is looking for food not just on this planet, but others. Perhaps the time is come to put that process in reverse. Instead of controling the environment for the benifit of the population, perhaps it's time to control the population for the benifit of the environment." David Attenborough from "The life of mammals"
