there is a scandal in cambridge university because a fellow named jason arday lied...and lied  lot about his life...the result of his fabrications was he got a doctorate from the university and employment...this reward is a symptom not the problem...the problem is that people want to believe that they should reward someone because of something other than their merits...it happens to all races, creeds, genders etc...(mr arday is of "equitorial heritage"

 

lets look at some other crimes...one of the better cop chase youtube sites (and there are plenty) is by @sergentcurtis who does an analysis of body-cam videos when a cop in a patrol car pulls someone over ...this is great stuff and illustrates the extent to which uniformed law enforcement are subjected to stress on a daily basis...."How this genius trooper caught drug mule" is a good one (30min)...

there is a tradeoff in society as was illustrated in the shootout at the burger joint...a bad guy with a gun randomly shot and killed people but a couple of fellows with their own firearms RETURNED FIRE!...there should be more attention paid to "a well regulated militia" from the second amendment...why are so many people unable to return fire when a deranged person begins a killing spree...
