"To make a just state..."
felt bottomed sandals made for stealth in the woods....i bought two pairs for 3 bucks from the thrift store...fairly ineffective in the desert sands however....
got some very intellectually stimulating information this week from an interview with a mr. karl friston from university college london who has "free energy principal" which is still sort of vague to me...he was on a podcast from Hrvoje Kukina who is croatian i think...dr lex fridman also has an inteview with Friston from 5 years ago but this interview with Hrvoie is from a couple of weeks ago...there is so much information packed into this 41 minute presentation i recommend that you have pen and paper ready to take some reference notes...i wrote down at least a couple of dozen words and phrases that i needed to look up...i can see why dr. fridman was so enthusiastic about this mans work since it has to do with neural function and is very well suited to be used for programing a self driving vehicle which is work that dr. fridman does with tesla...if philosophy of mind described in mathematical terms is of interest to you this interview will delight you...and also enlighten you perhaps...i think Fristons explanation of consciousness is as good as any i have heard..."to seek evidence for your model of the world"...i was interested to hear that the public health service in england plans to implement gene mapping in all newborns...this may be resisted...but not by the infants...at the other end of the temporal spectrum i heard about a man in his 80s who shot and killed his wife who was in her 70's then he shot himself...they were said to have health problems which made them take this course of action...it is a damned shame that there are not better solutions to ending ones life than this rather crude method... i heard some people say that they were glad that the beautiful Nottoway plantation in south louisiana burned down since it was built by enslaved persons...as was the Acropolis, the Taj Mahal, the coliseum in rome...etc etc etc...i was excited about Deepseek r1 so i kept looking for information online and almost all the information was from 4 months ago...well it seems that the developer, the tech billionaire mr. liang wenfeng, has spent most of his fortune trying to enhance the abilities of his creation trying to have exclusive abilities...but without much success... there is a very good short biography of mr wenfeng on youtube...i see where playing chess is now a crime in Afghanistan...they should have dropped a few kinetic weapons on kabul as long as they were in the neighborhood...regime change is much needed to allow these authoritarian countries live in the 21st century...the citizens are mostly OK but the leadership is dismal at best...i have never spent any time in the city of lost angels but i figured if i ever got there i wanted to see the getty art museum and the la brea tar pits...i saw a fairly current tour of their facility at the tar pits which was quite good..."Inside the worlds most unusual fossil site- the la brea tar pits-featuring lindsay nikole" (ms. Nikole is largely absent from this presentation) unlike any other youtube presentation by the miniatureman and ms Nikole there was no cussing...and you could tell it put a cramp in their style... not to cast aspersions on this excellent presentation but i think i saw mr. miniature slip a dire wolf skull under his shirt and at one point he tried to push ms Nikole into the tar pit...he is another heinrich schleimann...mask of Agamemnon my butt...lets move on...! The sandals in the photo above are to illustrate how much footwear is available to society...as much as i respect marketplaces Kai his loathing of birkenstocks and now "snofers" may get him in trouble...the birkenstock people have long reach and may put a hit out on on him...those danes are from viking stock and can be formidable foes...i would like to recommend some music i really liked "The high-jivers" rendition of "Look what you've done to me"...good stuff!

"But the faithful do not invent..."
every time i look at this rock i think it was chipped by a much older culture than has yet been described in this part of the desert west...an experienced pre-history archaeologist might have a more educated idea
these images are from the desert a few month ago...right now i am dealing with the reality of my camera...i ran over it with my truck last week...i sort of went into shock...however if i take the memory card and put it in my D200 i can read the images but not enlarge them...ok i need to take deep breaths now...so the high temperature in the southern part of the state today will be near 116 degrees Fahrenheit...deadly...but it will be cooler in the higher elevations but the wind and heat will make the threat of fires much greater....i am sure glad that those ninnies who think there is climate change are not in charge...yeah right!...i just watched a Mr. Tavis Smiley being interviewed on c-span and he said "THEY MURDERED HIM"...speaking of the demise of mr george floyd....who is "THEY?" i believe there was only one white guy kneeling on his neck...not the whole white race...i am not going to celebrate Juneteenth today as i had no slaves or other servants...but i do hope those who want to remember the so called "emancipation" of the enslaved people will remember that it is kind of like the sign i have seen posted on the doors of some bars "FREE BEER TOMORROW"....tomorrow never comes...free your mind... one of the best interviews i have yet seen on youtube is by lex fridman of YUVAL NOAH HARARI...(where does he find all these Jewish intellectuals!) this man speaks intelligently about a number of subjects and is well worth the nearly 3 hour interview time...i watched it over several settings...i looked up a book review of kash patels tome "GOVERNMENT GANGSTERS"...if i can find the book used i will read it...but wtching the review i sort of get what it is he is complaining about...i looked up DEEP SEEK and there are only offerings from 4 month ago...was it a scam?......i need to pack up now and seek my way in the world...i will see a oncologist today and get a refill on my anti-testosterone meds. onward thru the fog!

"Allow me to be frank..."
this handsome spider was living beneath a cow turd ...maybe one inch long
another cow turd resident maybe half an inch long
the volatility of mr musks moods may well be due to his use of non-prescription drugs...Dr. hubermans insistence that men need to control their volatile emotions would be a good idea....however...i sure hope that mr musk will not spin out of control...(i hope!)...
i have been targeted by the dull witted folks who seem to think that i have discredited the united states marine corp...whose job it is , by the way ,to protect my freedom of speech...one of the segments in my dangerous jobs DVD is about the Iwo Jima assault during world war two...a small island with strategic air bases from which the japanese military was conducting bombing raids...about 17,000 marines died in taking this small volcanic tunnel infested island...60 thousand u.s. troops and 20 thousand japanese troops battled to the death...these sacrifices are not to be overlooked even it some of the current stock of marines seem to have ignored the constitution which is the basis of government...
some interesting legal cases are now in the courts...there is a woman who is suing someone because she claims she is being discriminated against because she is heterosexual...i'm sure that happens much more than people realize...it has happened to me...now i am eunuchized....so less of a threat to those folks who are aggressively queer... also i see where in oklahoma they have allocated millions of dollars for black people to be "repaired" from the destruction of a large black community many years ago...i see where c. thomas of the supreme court voted against the majority to refuse permission to mine copper on native lands...he will not likely get recognize for this by the so called "liberal" press....and one of the most absurdist lawsuits i have heard of from washington state is by a woman who claims she needs to be compensated (made whole) because her mother died due to heat exposure because those durned oil companies made the climate hotter....well if that is the case all those people who go to sports events and especially ms. t. swift concerts have put so much carbon in the air it is a wonder that we are not all dead, dead, dead...just a thought...give up some of that cash taylor!..
i am reading a very interesting memoir by andre malraux called "anti-memoirs" (1967)...he was all over the globe engaged in conversations and doing battle with various and assorted folks...as well as being imprisoned as member of the french tank corps...well written and jammed with historic accounts of important people....his account of his encounter with charles de gaulle was very revealing..."The future lasts a long time" is one of de Gaulle's observations...
i was looking at youtube last night and came across some great music...most of these folks i have never heard of....one of the better (and most startling) presentations was by "MISSIONED SOULS" cover of a led zepplin song "a whole lotta love"...the music is so note perfect i kept looking to see if these musicians were "lip syncing" the drummer is about 8 years old and the rest of the band all under 13 years old probably...there is also a name attached to this presentation called "girls rock asia"....excellent stuff...also "house of the rising sun" by gigi de luna is excellent and "hillbilly moon explosion" with a tune called "Call Me"...lots of attitude...Becca Kruger sings "Hit the road Jack" very well...and "Post modern Jukebox" with morgan jones singing "Dream on" is great....more music is more better!..."Musics Power over your brain"( 7:43)...on youtube by michael spitzer gives a scientific explanation of how humans engage with music...he says that music is linked to motion (walking, dancing, etc.) ...

"If man is not willing..."
13 bucks for 3 pounds of boiled LOUISIANA! crawfish at walmart...and worth it!
got to put this in first...ms. Greta is a hero(ine) along the lines of joan of arc and simone weil...weil is stephen wests favorite philosopher and she died at at around 33 years old from tuberculosis and being under-nourished because she would not eat any more food than she thought the army troops were getting...by most accounts she was very sensitive to other peoples suffering (weltsmerz?) she is said to have embraced "poverty, hunger and exhaustion"...( i personally sought to avoid those experiences" anyhow thunberg will likely not accomplish her goal of breaking the siege in gaza...and may lose her live in the bargain....
one of the good things about the steel and aluminum tariffs is that the price of salvage metals will go up accordingly so aluminum cans and food cans will be more recyclable...yeah!...
i spent several hours looking at lex fridman/ andrew huberman podcast/interviews last week...these men who are both Ph.D college instructors and researchers have a good rapport (i don't really like the term bro-mance) and i was able to take a lot of notes for further reference...dr. fridman does a good job of showing frame in frame images to illustrate the discussion...both of these men are what i call "body nazis" as they really like to work out with exercise equipment and also they are runners...these guys were both in tears while they talked about the death of their dogs.. dr. huberman says he still wakes up crying sometimes....dr. fridman had a 200 pound newfoundland (homer) and dr.huberman had a bulldog (costello)... as i also still get sentimental about the deaths of my dogs 40 years ago i respect their emotionalism...dr. huberman told dr. fridman that "your future wife is out there" and dr. fridman said "Yeah, she is being programed"...he insists that humans can have "relationships" with their refrigerators...i was amused to hear dr. fridman talk about wearing his cowboy hat when he travels to west texas from his austin home...he is a russian born jew who did much of his Ph.D. work at MIT in Cambridge, Mass. as a expert on AI and programing autonomous vehicles... i would highly recommend that Dr. fridman think about traveling to Australia to go on a several weeks camel trek....he will undoubtedly recognize the personality of camels as being very like a newfoundland dog...he may even seek to acquire a couple of camels of his own...much more excitinging than a dog...or a refrigerator....and there are 5 rounds of these two brilliant minds discussing the world and all that is in it...most of these encounters are over 3 hours long but worth the time...intellectual stimulation in abundance...these guys talk about their future families quite a lot...i recently saw a woman on youtube lamenting that dr, huberman was dating 6 women at the same time...i remember reading about one of the renowned physicist (maybe rutherford) who went to spend some time in a cabin in the woods and of course he brought along his lovely wife and also his girlfriend...the article said that he did some important physics work while on this sojourn....so maybe dr. huberman is one of those scientist who needs a lot of stimulation to work well...anyhow...one of the best music videos i saw last week was "sona jobarteh and band"..."Jabari" (9:39)...very good..
